Over eighty guests enjoyed a wonderful day out at our annual Christmas party for the over 60s. Our guests were entertained by the pupil choir singing Christmas songs and solos from two of the stars of Bugsy Malone. A delicious and healthy buffet tea was prepared and served to them by the Year 10 Food Technology pupils with expert help from chef, Steve Scuffel and dietician Carol Cornish. The pupils loved playing host to their older guests. School staff organised the party with support from Age Concern Slough and The Supported Tenants Action Group who helped with invitations and transport. Thanks to a Tesco Community Award grant we were able to invite twice as many guests this year and everyone seemed to have had a great time!
