Gospel Choir 2010
On Wednesday 20th January during Periods 3 and 4, Slough and Eton School welcomed reknowned Gospel Choir Director, Ken Burton. 160 pupils from Years 7 & 8 took part in a workshop in the main hall. Ken led them through a variety of vocal warmups and Gospel songs, complete with choreography. Lots of the pupils (and the staff!) didn't realise they had a voice, and Ken really inspired them to use their own instrument. Those who showed real flair and enthusiasm will be selected to take part in a full day's choral workshop at Eton College with other schools in the Slough area on Thursday 11th February.
