Activities day
On Wednesday all pupils in school were involved in activities run by the staff. Some activities such as archery, horse riding, kayaking, and raft building took place out of school whilst those in school included cake decoration, international cooking and music madness. The school was also fortunate to have a visit from HEADSMART (the Bicycle Helmet Initiative Trust) and MAD (bicycle stunt show) who were highly impressed by both the behaviour and attitude of pupils involved in the activity. They also communicated on how the school dinner was the best they had ever had in a school.
A group of thirty two pupils participated in a nature trail at Burnham Beeches, identifying a range of plants and animals on route. This was followed by a picnic and some outdoor games. A highlight for the pupils was their encounter with some wild cattle and they commented on how much they enjoyed the peacefulness of the environment.
