Sixth Form Taster Days

On Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th July the year 11 students had a sample of life in the sixth form and beyond.

There were sessions hosted by Aimhigher and Connexions which included talks on options after sixth form and alternative career paths.  Aimhigher also had the students working on tasks that they might encounter at university in both media and technology

In addition Art, Business Studies, Geography, History, ICT and Performing Arts all gave a taste of sixth form lessons for the students and what they might expect to be in their subjects at sixth form level.

All of the students had a good time and many of them found the creation of an advertisement session so enthralling that we had to chase them out of the building at the end of their session to allow others to have an opportunity to experience it!
