44 pupils from Years 7-10 enjoyed a great day out on the continent! After a very early start we boarded a brand new and spacious ferry in Dover. We then headed to a small French village to a bakery where we were shown how to make French bread and everyone left with a nice "pain au chocolat"! We had lunch at the beach in Boulogne before going to visit the Old Town. Finally, we headed back to Calais and Cité Europe, the biggest shopping centre in Europe. It was a long day but worth every minute of it. Everyone had a wonderful time and we are all looking forward to visiting France again soon!
