After a number of pupils at the Slough & Eton asked about a dance class to make use of the new dance studio, Miss Antrobus found a specialist local coach to lead a street dance session after school.

The club was extremely well attended as pupils learnt new skills, techniques and movements. They had to work as a group to help each other grasp new concepts and overcome the challenges they were presented with.  

It was great to see new people enjoying school sport in their free time, keeping fit and learning some new dance moves at the same time.

Pupils even contributed £1 per session to help fund the cost of the professional coach to come into school. The rest of the cost was covered by a grant from the Slough Schools Sport Partnership.

As you can see from the photographs the pupils worked in our new Dance Studio in the comfort of air conditioning!
