On Tuesday 14th June the Art Department was proud to present 'Experiementalists Zero Nine', a showcase of year 11, year 12 and year 13 artwork from the last year.
Staff, students and parents came together to enjoy and celebrate the artistic achievements from all of these years. The exhibition was stretched over three rooms and contained work by students from GCSE Art & Design, GCSE Graphics, BTEC National Award and BTEC National Certificate in Art and Design.
Painting, sculpture, print, textiles, ceramics, animation, photography and digital manipulation techniques were all showcased in the displays. The exhibition was directed by year 13 students Shalin Abdul Hamid, Zahira Younis and Ifrah Ahmed who have all achieved the highest grades possible (double distinction) on the BTEC National Certificate qualification.
