At the end of May Year 9 and Year 10 GCSE Art Students visited the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) in London. Students enjoyed studying portrait paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture from the 18th Century to the present day at the National Portrait Gallery and a huge range of decorative and applied arts at the V&A. A good day was had by all and the gallery visits will be adding to the students final GCSE grades.
